Our client, a trailblazing Native Omnichain Yield Aggregator, is seeking a Business Development Specialist with a keen eye on the web3 market. As a pivotal member of their team, you’ll be instrumental in identifying and executing strategic partnerships, leveraging their cutting-edge AI technology to optimize yield across multiple chains and assets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation: Spearhead the generation, engagement, and qualification of inbound and outbound leads. Manage the sales pipeline efficiently in the CRM, converting quality leads by facilitating meetings, calls, and demos with prospects and account executives.
  2. Market Exploration: Proactively scout the web3 market for potential partners, identifying opportunities that can substantially enhance our client’s Total Value Locked (TVL). Assess the business development landscape and drive opportunities to fruition.
  3. TVL Enhancement: Develop and implement tailored strategies to boost the Total Value Locked in their DeFi project. Collaborate closely with partners to understand their needs and demonstrate how our client’s offerings can amplify the value of their assets under management.
  4. Partnership Cultivation: Identify promising business and partnership opportunities for our client’s suite of products and services. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across governmental, financial, and private sectors.
  5. Negotiation and Deal Structuring: Lead negotiations and craft deals that drive TVL growth and align with strategic business objectives. Strive for agreements that deliver short-term gains while fostering sustainable long-term growth.
  6. Market Insight: Provide actionable insights to the leadership team, shaping our client’s product and business strategies. Stay abreast of trends and shifts in the web3 and DeFi markets, particularly those impacting TVL.
  7. Partnership Strategies: Develop and execute partnership strategies prioritizing the adoption of our client’s products. Collaborate closely with the product team to effectively meet market demands and increase TVL through strategic partnerships.
  8. Reporting and CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records of sales and business development activities in the CRM system. Ensure data-driven reporting accurately reflects partnership impacts, especially in terms of TVL growth.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, particularly within web3, DeFi, or related sectors.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and key financial metrics, including Total Value Locked (TVL).
  • Proven track record of effectively increasing TVL through strategic business development initiatives.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical prowess and robust problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
